Bringing a Game?
We wish we could say that we own all of the awesome games at the Louisvillle Arcade Expo, but we don't. It is only possible by collectors who want to make the Louisville Arcade Expo an awesome experience, by sharing their game with others.
A show like the Louisville Arcade Expo is the perfect place to buy, sell or trade a machine as well. Several of the attendees are in the market for purchasing a machine. Others may have a pinball or arcade, and just want something different.
We know how much effort and how much of a pain it can be to move machines, so we want to help out as much as possible. This is the #1 reason why we chose the Triple Crown Pavilion at the Ramada Hotel. The building has several doors that are accessible to the main hall. It also has a covered front area where it makes loading and unloading out of the weather a breeze.
We only accept Arcade and Pinball machines that are fully working and on free play at the show for setup. If you want to bring a game and register that you are, click on the registration link above or just email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. When can I bring my machine?
Best time to bring it is on Thursday afternoon through the evening. Thursday is a setup day and is not open to the public. There will be workers there layout out the electric and setting up the tables. On Thursday you will be able to use the back doors to make it easier for loading and unloading games. Friday through Sunday, the back doors will be closed and locked.
Friday before the show, around noon, will be available for setting up games. The front entrance will have to be used. During the show, you will want to pull up to the front and notify the front desk you have games to unload. Since the game area is dark, you may want to setup a pinball machine (if bringing one) in the lobby, and use our pinball cart for hauling it in.
Where do I unload?
Thursday is not open to the public, but you can use the back area for loading and unloading. Anytime after noon through about 10pm will be available. Friday and during show hours, you will need to unload from the front of the Triple Crown Pavilion.
I am bringing my machine, what do I get?
You will receive one free admission for each game set on free play per day. Therefore if you bring 3 machines, you get 3 admissions. Also, we are doing something really exciting. We are giving each game set up on free play an entry into a drawing for prizes! For each day that your machine is running and on free play, a ticket will be entered for the machine (including the owner's name) into the drawing. Thursday is a bonus day. If you bring your machine on Thursday that is one extra chance! Therefore, if you have a machine setup Thursday through Sunday, you will have 4 chances to win some cool prizes.
Classic Playfield Reproductions has donated some really awesome prizes that we will be giving away for this. We will also be giving away some show swag and additional items, including $100 cash.

"The 2012 edition of the Louisville Arcade Expo did us all proud, and everyone from the organizers (ArcadeRX), the vendors, the collectors who bring the games, to the people who attend should be really happy with how this city represents the retro scene."

"Our kids played video games for about 3 hours straight and we played along as some of the arcade games were 2 player and up to 4 player on the consoles. It was really awesome and brought back some memories to see them playing the games I remember loving at their age."
